On Tuesday morning, a 10-year-old girl was found naked, bloodied, and lifeless in a vacant lot in Barangay Bal-ason, Gingoog City.
The girl was in 5th grade and was walking back home from school on Monday when her two older brothers, 19-year-old Ferlan Quiraban and 17-year-old Quiraban, invited her to gather fruits in the nearby area.
Her two brothers are the suspects but the younger Quiraban brother told told the police that he only pinned down the victim while their older brother raped her. Ferlan, however, denied doing the crime.
Investigations say they both rape the poor little girl and it was confirmed by Police Inspector Marilyn Pimentel of Gingoog City Police WCPD.
The Quiraban brothers both face rape and murder charges but the 17-year-old Quiraban will be under the custody of DSWD.
