174 cops tested positive for drug use fired by Bato
Philippine National Police chief Director General Ronald ''Bato'' dela Rosa said he will dismiss 174 policemen who tested for illegal drug use.
The PNP chief will finalize and sign the recommendation of dismissal from the police Internal Affairs Service which conducted the random drug tests.
"Mayroong text sa akin ang IAS. Mayroon na daw siyang isinubmit na lahat ng positive sa drug test, for my signature na lang, para for dismissal," he said.
"Once na mapirmahan ko ngayon, bye na kayong 174," Dela Rosa added.
He also warned them not to attempt to restore their positions through the National Appellate Board and the Department of the Interior and Local Government.
"Huwag na kayong mag-attempt na magpapa-reinstate dahil haharangin ko ang reinstatement ninyo. Sige kayo, balik-balik sa serbisyo, puro sakit ng ulo ang ibinigay niyo sa amin," Dela Rosa said.
"Hindi na kayo papa-reinstate habang buhay ako... Sabihin niyo personalan ito, pepersonalin ko kayo," he added.
