NCRPO: Zero crime in Manila during Pacquiao's fight
On Sunday during Manny Pacquiao's fight in Las Vegas, the National Capital Region Police Office reported that there were no crime incidents happened in Metro Manila.
"We have not recorded any crime incident on the duration of his fight," National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said after Pacquiao fight.
NCRPO director Chief Superintendent Oscar Albayalde claimed that the victory of "Pambansang Kamao" equates to "victory for peace" after having no reports of crime in the city.
"The National Capital Region Police Office renders its salute to Sen. Manny Pacquiao for his victory. His victory today is another victory for peace," Albayalde said.
Pacquiao was seated as a senator since May and this is his first time fighting as a boxer with another title in hand. He won against American Jessie Vargas through a unanimous decision for the WBO welterweight belt in their Las Vegas fight on Sunday.
"Another win for peace and honor for the Philippines," Albayalde proudly added.
