Pinay teen surprises Korean reality show judges

A 17-year-old Filipina contestant amazed and impressed the judges of a Korean reality show when she auditioned and showed off her talent.


Kriesha Tiu, also known as Chrisha Choo, is a trainee for a Korean talent agency called Urban Works ENT.

She was originally from Cebu, Philippines and was scouted by the said company while she was staying in San Francisco, California.

Choo sang "I Don't Love You" by Urban Zakapa and danced to Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend" for her audition for "K-Pop Star 6."

The judges, YG Entertainment's Yang Hyun-suk, JYP Entertainment's Park Jin-young, and Antenna Music's You Hee-yeol were surprised and impressed with the young Filipina's performance.

Yang even said he wants to accept her into his company immediately.

The judges also praised her for her Korean language skills.
