Duterte is concerned with the killings too

(This is an opinion on the article Duterte bothered by killings, Palace claims by Marlon Ramos for Philippine Daily Inquirer on August 10, 2016.)

He might be called the Punisher (because of his tactics), but it doesn’t mean Duterte is numb to the rampant killings around him (especially by unknown gunmen). It has also cause him great concern. He was even described as “bothered and troubled.”

Looking tough and no nonsense, but Digong still has a heart for everyone.
As reported, Presidential spokesperson Ernesto Abella said:
“I don’t think he’s happy about (the killings). I don’t think happiness is the right word to use,” Abella told reporters in Malacañang.
“I think he’s very concerned and, in fact, bothered and troubled,” Abella added. “He is deeply and profoundly concerned.”

Let it be known to the public, Digong doesn’t agree with extrajudicial killings. He has already asked investigations done to hunt down the perpetrators – to include lawmen and suspected drug personalities.

The blame game has started, spearheaded by Rody nemesis (?) Leila De Lima. They are blaming Digong’s approach to thwart the drug menace as the force behind the rash of drug-related deaths around our country (as if they have the evidence).
President Duterte is a thinking man (as described by most). He has a method to his (mad scientist as said by some) approach.

He doesn’t want to show signs of weakness or letting up, because it would give the other side an edge. He will not let that happen.
One thing we can learn from this new article, is that Digong shares the views of various groups and several individuals who were alarmed over the blood spill in the background of Duterte’s antidrug campaign. No need for numerous media interviews (as others have been doing) to highlight that and hog the spotlight.

We’ll just have to wait and see for the results of the on-going investigations to know the real people behind all these killings.

The killings bothers Rody too, but he works on as we all wait…
