A German national, Horst Koenig, murdered his Filipina wife, Grace, so he could go to Pattaya, Thailand to have fun with prostitutes.
Prior to the murder, Koenig was chatting with a Thailand woman and he badly wanted to see her.

The 53-year-old Koenig admitted the crime before the Augsburg State Court in Bavaria. He killed Grace, his Filipina wife of 10 years, by brutally hammering her head and cutting her into pieces.
Koenig was eager to kill her wife as he knew she would not let him be with the Thailand woman and searched online on how to kill a person with a single blow to the head.
The murder happened on November 28, 2015. He hit Grace on the head with a hammer while she was asleep and suffocated her using a plastic bag. Koenig even cut her up into eight pieces and put those in garbage bags in an attempt to conceal the murder.
Koenig was able to fly to Thailand and had fun for three weeks but was immediately arrested by the police upon his return to Germany as Grace's relatives contacted the authorities for her lack of presence.
The trial of the German killer will end next week and is expected to face a life sentence for murder.
