Pacquiao: De Lima got P8 million drug money from Kerwin
On Tuesday, Senator Manny Pacquiao said that alleged drug lord Kerwin Espinosa gave P8 million worth of drug money to Senator Leila De Lima.
"Isa lang po ang nabanggit niya sa [sworn] statement niya... Na-mention niya si Leila de Lima," Pacquiao said during an interview.
"Idinetalye po niya. Ayon sa kanya, sa salaysay niya ay nasa walong milyon daw po ang naibigay niya kay De Lima," he added.
According to Espinosa, the money was delivered to De Lima through Dayan but Pacquiao did not make it clear if it was Ronnie Dayan, the former driver and lover of De Lima.
"Pinapunta siya ng Dayan ang pangalan na tao ni De Lima para ma-confirm na utos talaga ni de Lima ang mga transaksyon nila," Pacquiao said.
Pacquiao also said that Espinosa revealed other government officials who are also involved in illegal narcotics. Vital information were discovered through Espinosa's affidavit that was presented during their meeting at Camp Crame last week.
