After being arrested, Ronnie Dayan on Tuesday confirmed that he had a relationship with Senator Leila De Lima.
He admitted of having a 7-year relationship with the senator during a press conference in Camp Crame.
"Totoo po may relasyon kami, seven years," Dayan said.
De Lima admitted their relationship last week during an interview on "Bawal ang Pasaway with Mareng Winnie" but did not mention details like the length of the love affair.
Dayan, a married man, used to work for De Lima as a close boydguard and driver. He and the senator are allegedly linked to the illegal drug business inside Bilibid, with Dayan being the bagman of De Lima.
A warrant arrest was issued against Dayan after he did not attend the Senate probe regarding the Bilibid drug trade.
