Anti- Terrorism equipment given by US government to PNP
The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Wednesday received anti-terrorism equipment from the US Government.
PNP Chief Police Director General Ronald Dela Rosa personally received the donation from Diplomatic Security Service's Office of Antiterrorism Assistance U.S. Embassy in the Philippines represented by Mr. Lon Fairchild, Regional Security Officer in a ceremony held at Camp Crame, QC.
Dela Rosa expressed his gratitude to the US government for the donation that will help strengthen PNP’s anti-terrorism efforts. According to the PNP, the equipment worth around P42 million will be turned over to the Special Action Force, Anti-Kidnapping Group, Anti-Cybercrime Group and Crime Laboratory.
